Meet Jason Duckett

​Jason Duckett received his Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Jacksonville University in 1990 and his Masters Degree in Conducting in 2018 from the University of North Florida.  Mr. Duckett taught at Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach from 1990-2000, and since 2000 he has been the Director of Bands at Bartram Trail High School in St. Johns, Florida.  His marching, concert, and jazz ensembles consistently receive Superior ratings at District and State level assessments.  This year, his ensembles were selected to perform at the National Band and Orchestra Festival at Carnegie Hall in New York City.  Mr. Duckett is a Past-President of the Florida Bandmasters Association, and is in demand throughout the state as an adjudicator and clinician.  He is a fan of good wine and the Chicago Blackhawks, and loves to travel with his wife, Jill.
