Mark Stevens currently serves as the Director of Bands at Alice B. Landrum Middle School in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. He also serves on staff as an instructor with the Ponte Vedra High School Ocean of Sound.

Prior to his appointment at Landrum, Mark graduated summa cum laude with his bachelor’s in music education from The Florida State University College of Music. During his time at FSU, Mark served as the Head Drum Major of The World-Renowned Florida State University Marching Chiefs.

A native of St. Augustine, Mark was a member of the SACB from 2016-2020 while he was a student at St. Augustine High School. Now, serving as a board member at large and principal clarinetist, Mark is proud to once again be part of the group that gave him such a foundational musical upbringing.

Mark holds professional memberships in the National Association for Music Education, the Florida Music Education Association, the Florida Bandmasters Association, Tau Beta Sigma National Band Sorority, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, and Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society.
